Synopsis:

The documentary "Improvvisamente l’inverno scorso" has become in a single year since its release in a historic and human profile of the social and political Italian society of the XXI century. In comparison with most EU countries, where the registered partnership laws have been already approved, Italy has shown the real face of who holds the political power: the Vatican and the most conservatives groups of its society, who have made of this right a weapon against morality and family, dividing the whole country. The journalist and producer, Gustav Hofer, who presents a daily cultural program in Arte, a French-German network, and the film critic and photographer Luca Ragazzi, made this documentary, released in the last Berlinale, under the section Panorama. They tried to understand both sides in fight, and in the process they discovered levels of intolerance and homophobia beyond anything they ever imagine.

Conference

After the projection of the documentary there will be realized a round table in which there will take part Luca Ragazzi, the director of the documentary, Cristina Gonzalez Beilfuss, Professor of International Law Deprived by the UB and Antoine Leonetti, coordinator of the Mostra to speak about the situation of the Unmarried couples' Law in our European environment with the participation of the public.
