From the Broadway musical to "Saturday Night Live" and Scissor Sisters, the music and the gay culture have gone hand to hand. This is a cliché and a stereotype but also a truth.

When House, Electronic and other musical alternatives, the spectrum has become so wide that today there is no way to identify which is the profile target of the majority of the music produced nowadays.

It is wonderful that a band such as Scissor Sisters is so proudly gay. It is exiting to see that Cansei from Ser Sexy has crossed to the mainstream music public or the renaissance of ambiguity.

David Bowie told us many things, Michael Jackson wanted to be Liz Taylor, Gene Kelly and Rob Low at the same time. Madonna seduces straight people, lesbians and gays with her almost transsexual nature. Rufus Wainwright is a kind of Barbra Streisand with a touch of Judy Garland, and Turbo Negro surprises us with Village People and super Hard Rock looks.

Music tells us about our time and spreads all thoughts… So let’s dance.

DRAGONETTE

Martina Sorbara (singer & keyboard) and Dan Kurtz (Bass), Canadian born but settled in London, are married and love "The Cars". Their band, which appeared almost two years ago, composes and plays electro pop music with soft glam rhythm, which is great for dancing and has achieved among other successes to be the support band for Duran Duran and has played in festivals worldwide.

In a record time, and with a single album in the market they have dignified the bubblegum pop making it popular and disco-pop stylish. They refreshing and uninhibited vision of popular music shared by their friends Scissor Sisters, Peaches and Gonzalez sparkles.

DJ HETERAS

Romanticism, cynicism, rock, dancing cheek to cheek, calories and beers for breakfast, are some of the items claimed by Las Heteras. Agitators from time to time of the Pop Bar, they have achieved to make their leitmotiv "Being straight is also cool" an allegory of the made in Barcelona post modernism. Although they are loved by gays, they want to put mainstream music bands to a halt, and they do it. From Gwen Stefani to Nirvana, Metallica to Jason Donovan, or from Pixies to Tamara, these two straight women revive in their performances the most funny, decadent and trashy memories.
